These Terms of Service & Disclaimer (“Terms”) apply to services offered by KD Guidance, operated by K. D. Jones-Evans. By purchasing, booking, or participating in a session, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms.
Nature of Services
KD Guidance provides private life-coaching and tarot-informed guidance services intended to support personal reflection, self-awareness, clarity, and personal development.
Depending upon the service selected, sessions may incorporate coaching conversation, intuitive interpretation, tarot-informed reflection, and exploration of patterns, perspectives, possibilities, and potential next steps.
Tarot and intuitive guidance are used as tools for reflection and exploration. They should not be understood as guarantees or promises regarding future events or outcomes.
Your Choices Remain Your Own
The purpose of a session is to provide a space for reflection and perspective—not to make decisions on your behalf.
You remain solely responsible for your decisions, actions, relationships, finances, career choices, health decisions, and other circumstances following a session. No particular result or outcome is guaranteed.
Professional Services Disclaimer
KD Guidance services are not psychotherapy, psychological treatment, psychiatric care, medical care, legal advice, financial or investment advice, or any other licensed professional service.
K. D. Jones-Evans does not represent herself through KD Guidance as a physician, psychologist, psychotherapist, attorney, financial adviser, or other licensed professional unless expressly stated otherwise.
If a matter requires medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other licensed professional assistance, you should consult an appropriately qualified professional.
KD Guidance is not an emergency or crisis service. If you believe you are experiencing an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency services or qualified crisis resource in your location.
Client Responsibility
You agree to provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and to participate in sessions voluntarily.
You are responsible for deciding whether and how any information, perspective, or insight discussed during a session applies to your circumstances.
Private Tarot Preparation
When applicable, tarot cards may be selected and interpreted privately before your scheduled consultation based upon the situation, area of focus, or question you submit in advance.
The resulting interpretation serves as one component of the broader coaching and reflective conversation. It does not constitute a guaranteed prediction of future events.
Age Requirement
Services are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. By booking a session, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.
Payment
Payment is due according to the terms displayed during the booking process. A session is not considered fully booked until any required payment and booking requirements have been completed.
Prices may change from time to time. Changes will not alter the price of a session that has already been purchased and confirmed unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refunds
You may cancel or request to reschedule your appointment with at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled start time.
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may be eligible for a refund or rescheduling in accordance with the booking terms provided at the time of purchase.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment and missed appointments/no-shows are non-refundable.
If KD Guidance must cancel or reschedule a session, you will be offered an opportunity to reschedule or receive a refund for the affected session.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may still end at the originally scheduled time so that subsequent appointments are not affected. The full session fee may still apply.
Technology
Online sessions may depend upon third-party technology and internet connectivity. KD Guidance cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation of third-party platforms or internet services.
If a significant technical problem prevents a scheduled session from taking place, reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule the affected session.
Intellectual Property
Website content, original written materials, service descriptions, branding, educational materials, and other original content provided by KD Guidance are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Materials provided to you are for your personal use unless otherwise stated and may not be reproduced, distributed, sold, published, or commercially exploited without permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, KD Guidance is not responsible for losses or damages resulting from decisions or actions you independently make based upon information, discussion, reflection, tarot interpretation, or guidance provided during a session.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Privacy
Your use of the website and submission of personal information are also subject to the KD Guidance Privacy Policy.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated periodically. The version posted on the website at the time of booking will apply to that booking unless applicable law requires otherwise.
